Industry Update on Backordered Veterinary Products
“TEVA, the largest generics manufacturer in the world and largest animal health generics manufacturer in the U.S. has shut down indefinitely due to FDA compliance issues. While there are five other FDA-approved animal health generics manufacturers, it will be difficult to replace TEVA’s established capacity. It is anticipated that the disruption to the supply chain will last for several months.”
DVM Pharmaceuticals is one of the most recognized companies affected. We’re told not to expect their product line to be available again until after the first of the year.
